Parents and individuals with food allergies and intolerances are responsible for reading the labels and confirming ingredients of all products they intend to use regardless of how the product is represented on this site. Certain unacceptable ingredients may be hidden under the  name of natural flavorings. Modified food starch is also a vague term which does not indicate the source of the starch (wheat or corn). Any and all questions and/or concerns about a product should be directed to the manufacturer, including the possibility of cross contamination. According to the book, "The Safe Shoppers Bible", many common household products  contain known carcinogens and/or neurotoxins. Carcinogens are chemicals that cause cancer. Neurotoxins are chemicals that adversely affect the nervous system reducing emotional well being, mental alertness, coordination and other functions associated with intelligence.

 The average home today contains 62 toxic chemicals — more than a chemistry lab at the turn of the century. More than 72,000 synthetic chemicals have been produced since WW II. Stamp Gum Recipe by Shawndra on GFCF Diet list: 

If your kids like stickers you can make your own by cutting pictures out of magazines or color books or printing them off of your computer & use this stamp gum.

1 packet (1/4ounce) unflavored gelatin
1 tablespoon cold water
3 tablespoons boiling water
1/2 tsp. white corn syrup or cane syrup or veg glycerin
1/2 tsp lemon extract

In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin into cold water. Put aside until softened. Pour softened gelatin into boiling water & stir until completely dissolved. Add corn syrup & lemon extract. Mix well. Makes 4 ounces. Brush gum thinly onto the back of a stamp. When dry, moisten the stamp & apply it to paper. This gum will gel overnight. To return it to a liquid state, warm container of gum in a pan of hot water. If stored in a tight jar it will keep several months.
